The best advertisement is the delicious smell of the barbecue coming from Southtown. The Filipino BBQ chicken was slightly spicy and had a tangy sauce. The ribs were definitely fall off the bone and had a really good seasoning to them. The beans were very yummy and have little chunks of meat inside. The mac salad was very light and evened out the flavors of the meal. Since it was so hot I decided to get a melon juice. Someone else also compared it to aguas fresca but the distinction in this was thinly sliced cantaloupe that topped off the juice. It just has a taste that I haven't seen anywhere else in San Antonio restaurants.

Get you some pork ribs! They are fall off the bone tender and you will love them. The Hawaiian Mac salad is creamy and cool perfect for a hot day. The chicken on a stick is sweet and mildly spicy and worth the drive to find the place. This BBQ is a welcome departure from the everyday Texas-style BBQ and was just what I was looking for. Definitely try the melon juice it's like our Aguas frescas and it's yummy!

Best Filipino BBQ ever. I haven’t had chicken so tender and flavorful in a while. I have come back too many times in the past month I have known about this spot. He gives a great portion and the ribs are just as mouthwatering, don’t forget to get the beans, Hawaiian salad and rice. My favorite BBQ in San Antonio.
